Next up is the big WSY Thanksgiving Invite in November

Did you know that our natatorium here at the YMCA, originally built in 1972 originally was 3.5 feet deep the entire pool.

In 2001 led by WSY Parent volunteer Mr. Vince Phillips, a group of WSY Competitive Swimming parent volunteers began a fundraising effort to raise $200,000 to deepen and upgrade our natatorium here at 410 Fallowfield Road.

After the renovated Natatorium was opened in 2002, these parent volunteers and donors were commemorated with this plaque in the natatorium .

There are many WSY Legacy names on this plaque and we continue to thank all of these parents for their vision and effort 20 years ago @hbgymca
