{"id":849,"date":"2015-03-18T13:29:33","date_gmt":"2015-03-18T01:59:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wsyswim.org\/hac\/?p=849"},"modified":"2015-03-18T13:29:33","modified_gmt":"2015-03-18T01:59:33","slug":"january-2015","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wsyswim.org\/hac\/january-2015\/","title":{"rendered":"January 2015"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1><strong>Meeting Minutes from January 19, 2015 at 7:15 PM<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p><strong>Roll Call<\/strong>: Janet Butterfield, Jim Davis, Deb Bennett, Kristia Ludwick<br \/>\n<strong>Prior Meeting Minutes:<\/strong> Approved<\/p>\n<p><strong>Report of Officers<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Deb discusses ideas for the fundraising.<\/li>\n<li>The board agreed to hold the swimming (lap-a-thon) fundraiser on June 30th at both practice.<\/li>\n<li>Deb will look into setting up the swim-outlet option for the team.  This is a free fundraiser that we all agree would be easy to do.<\/li>\n<li>The board reviewed the current form and added language to bottom portion in regards to the swimmer only rate and the HAC Board members are not responsible.<\/li>\n<li>The ad for the Pool Brochure has been finalized and forward for distribution.<\/li>\n<li>The website has been updated with the registration information and an email blast has been sent to all members of the 2014 team.<\/li>\n<li>The Parent Handbook has been reviewed and revised.  This information will be distributed for final agreement before being uploaded to the website.<\/li>\n<li>The next meeting will be February 16 at 7:15 PM in Wegmans.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Unfinished Business<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Janet to review the by-laws and distribute potential changes to the rest of the Board.<\/li>\n<li>We do want to look into filing HAC as a non-profit organization (501C3).  This would mean that donations to our group would be tax deductible.<\/li>\n<li>Janet will follow up with Amy on the new duck logo.
