(2/20/10) Madi Hoch Named to Zone Select Camp - Madi Hoch has been invited to the 2010 USA Swimming Eastern Zone Select Camp. Madi will be joining 54 other elite young swimmers from around the Eastern Zone at the camp to be held May 20th thru 23rd at Franklin and Marshall College. Selection is based upon fastest event times and total IMX Power Point scores from May 1st to August 31st. The complete list of swimmers is posted here. Congratulations Madi!

(12/14/09) 2009 TYR Cup Results are here.  WSY had 68% Best times based on entry times going into the meet.  Congratulations to Sam Apa for making his first Short Course National time in the 100 Breastroke. 

(11/8/09) Apples v Oranges Video 2009.  After 90 minutes of great swimming, the Oranges came back to beat the Apples (207-202)

(11/8/09) Congratulations to Coach Ryan and his wife who welcomed to the world Ryan Patrick Sprang, Jr. Born November 8 at 3:09 am. 9 lbs. 8 oz.  Family is healthy.

(10/2/09) Two WSY Swimmers have been named to the 2008-2009 Scholastic All-American Team by USA Swimming. Making the prestigious list were Adrienne Phillips (now at Towson University), Claire Loht. Nationwide, there were 1500 swimmers who were named to the team for combining athletic and academic success. Swimmers have to achieve at least a 3.50 GPA as a high school sophomore, junior or senior AND must achieve a Junior National Bonus Time Standard, or swim in a selected disability championship meet or the Open Water National Championships during the qualifying period. (9/30/09) USA Swimming passes new swim wear regulations that go in effect October 1, 2009.  Read more from Swimming World Magazine here.  USA Swimming has released a list of "Suits" which will be allowable in meets.  Assume that normal "polyester/practice suits" are acceptable to wear in every meet.   

(8/21/09) USA Swimming announces 2009-2010 USA Swimming National Team.  Congratulations to Joe Kinderwater for qualifying in the 1500 free, and 10K.
