Friday Prelims

We had a great prelim session today. After all of the tornado's passed through the area, the Mid West is very nice, mid 70's and not too much humidity. Breakfast was great, and then it was off to the pool. We had a great warm-up, and then had to wait through the 100 free's and 200 breastroke's before the 400 free's. Leah is coming back seeded 12th tonight in her 400 free (Results/video), and Joe had a great 400 free, grabbing a night swim going in seeded 18th (results/video). After a quick turn around, Leah swam a lifetime best time in her 100 fly (results/video). Kayla and Claire swam right beside each other in their heat of the 400 free (Results/video) and had some great swims. Steph and Claire also time trialed and event (Claire 200 free and Steph 100 fly, where Steph swam a lifetime best time (Video)). Tonight, as mentioned Joe and Leah will swim their 400 free, and Claire, Leah, Kayla, and Steph will swim a 400 free relay. Remember, their will be a live video cast of the meet on SwimNetwork.com.
